When blood accumulates within a vein, it can create clusters that become visible on the surface. This can make one feel self-conscious or want to hide the area with clothes or makeup. Using targeted laser energy, the vein is safely collapsed and fades from the surface of the skin. While visible veins may not be a medical concern, some people may find them unsightly and look for ways to have them removed. At Synergy MedAesthetics, we offer state-of-the-art laser vein treatment in Tri-Cities to remove spider veins and other vascular lesions quickly.

How Does the Treatment Work?

Lasers can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns and conditions, including spider veins, vascular lesions, and more. The laser works by delivering concentrated beams of energy into the skin. When the laser energy penetrates the vein or vascular lesion, it shrinks them down, which leads to a collapse. This is a safe procedure that ultimately results in the veins fading away from the skin.

Is the Treatment Safe

Yes. This treatment is safe and has very few side effects, all of which disappear within a few days. Because the laser uses a targeted energy beam, it doesn’t cause any damage to the surrounding skin or tissue. The treatment is also suitable for all skin types and tones. Our Tri-Cities laser vein treatment is non-surgical and non-invasive, so there are no incisions, stitches, or scarring involved in the process.

What Conditions Can the Treatment Address?

At Synergy MedAesthetics, our laser treatments can address spider veins, vascular lesions, venous lakes, rosacea, feeder veins, angioma, poikiloderma, and port-wine stains. If you have a vein or vascular lesion you would like treated, contact Synergy MedAesthetics to schedule a consultation.

The Laser Vein Treatment Consultation

The first step in your treatment is a consultation at Synergy MedAesthetics. Our staff will evaluate the area you want to be treated, review your medical history, and discuss any medications you may be using. During this time our provider will ask you about your goals for the treatment, and the areas you hope to improve.

They will assess if you are a good candidate for the laser treatment and create a customized plan for your needs. Our staff will also walk you through the treatment process and explain the treatment step by step. You’ll be able to ask any questions you may have and discuss any concerns.

Your Treatment

When you arrive for your treatment, the area will be cleansed, and a numbing cream may be applied. This will help keep you comfortable during the treatment; although it is a painless procedure, the numbing cream can help with anxiety. Once you are ready for the laser, it will be placed on the treatment area and moved across it. The beams will begin to deliver concentrated beams into the lesion. At first, the veins will appear darker and more pronounced but will then fade over time.

After Your Treatment

There is no downtime associated with this treatment, and you should be able to resume most everyday activities right away. In the first few days following the treatment, the veins will be darker. You may also experience some swelling and redness. Over the next two to six weeks, you will see vascular lesions begin to fade away and ultimately vanish.
