The applicators are placed on the treatment areas – the areas you want to get rid of fat. You will feel a mild sucking sensation as the applicators stick on to your body. You will feel a cool effect – this is the signature effect of CoolSculpting.
You might experience a tingly sensation, mild aching, or cramping at the sites during the procedure. Some CoolSculpting Tri-Cities clients even describe this sensation as a tugging, pulling, mild pinching, or a stinging sensation. All these sensations are natural and prove that the applicators are at work. All these sensations will disappear as the area becomes numb.
Once the applicators are detached, you will be given a gentle and brief massage on the treated areas to break up all the treated fat cells. The massage will also ensure enhanced fat reduction.

The exposure to cooling causes the fat cells to begin a process of natural removal, which gradually reduces the thickness of the fat layer. The fat cells in the treated area are gently eliminated through the body’s normal metabolic processes, similar to how fat from food is eliminated.

There is a 20% to 25% reduction of fat after just one treatment. The number of treatments you will require will depend on your desired goal. When you consult with us, we will determine if you will require additional treatments – and if so, how many you will need.
