Radiesse
If you’re concerned about severe wrinkles and deep folds around your nose and mouth, jawline, chin and even about aging in the back of your hands, our Kennewick Radiesse treatment may be a good option for you! Over the years, important support structures in your skin, such as collagen and elastin, diminish resulting in a decrease in suppleness and the development of wrinkles.
Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier and works by both restoring lost volume in the treatment area as well as stimulating your body’s collagen production. This effectively smooths out wrinkles and improves elasticity to improve the appearance of nasolabial folds, marionette lines, smile lines, chin wrinkles, pre-jowl folds, and hands!
After the treatment, your results should gradually appear over the course of a few days and can last for up to a full year.
What does Radiesse Do?
Radiesse® functions in two different ways. In the initial months, Radiesse® injections work as cosmetic fillers, to plump up the areas on the skin that need treatment while reducing the appearance of fine lines. The microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite then get to work and stimulate collagen production. This promotes new tissue growth in the area that has received the Radiesse® treatment. Over time, the gel carrier of the microspheres gets absorbed into the body, while natural tissue replaces the gel with the help of collagen.
Before & After
Radiesse Treatment Procedure: What to Expect?
At Synergy MedAesthetics we are committed to ensuring the best outcomes for our valued clients. The first step in the journey of your skin makeover is to schedule an appointment with our medical practitioner who will evaluate your overall health and skin condition. While explaining the various skin rejuvenation options available, the practitioner will recommend the most suitable one that meets your unique beauty and wellness goals.
The procedure begins with the practitioner selecting the precise injection points in the areas to be treated. After applying an antiseptic agent and local anesthesia, the practitioner gently injects our Kennewick Radiesse® beneath the skin layer using very fine needles. The duration of the procedure depends on the extent of treatment required to achieve the desired results but generally lasts anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes.
With no pretreatment skin tests or downtime after the procedure, you can resume your normal day-to-day activities following the treatment.
Is Radiesse® Treatment Safe?
The active ingredient in the Radiesse® cosmetic filler is calcium hydroxylapatite which is also naturally present in the human body. This means that there are no allergic reactions to Radiesse® and pre-testing is also not necessary. This is the key advantage Radiesse® has over other cosmetic fillers.
At Synergy MedAesthetics, while we offer the most advanced non-surgical cosmetic and body-sculpting treatments that are expertly administered, the safety of our patients is our top priority. We are involved in ongoing training and continuous learning which ensures our practitioners are highly trained. We take the utmost care to ensure your comfort and safety during and after the treatment session. This is one of the reasons why we have emerged as the top-rated boutique med spa in the Tri-Cities.
When will I See Results?
