On the day of your treatment, you are asked to come without make-up. We clean your face and apply a topical numbing cream. Although the procedure isn’t particularly painful, topical numbing can make the treatment more comfortable.
Then, our Synergy MedAesthetics dermatologists use a specialized micro-pen to make the small channels across your face. The pen will be slowly passed along each section of your entire face in a sweeping motion. The punctures may feel like tiny pinpricks during the session and your face may be inflamed a bit. Some patients do have minor bleeding, but this usually stops once the treatment is complete.
After Mobile, microneedling is done, we apply a soothing cold mask to bring down the inflammation. You will be asked to lie down on the treatment table for about 20-30 minutes before the mask is removed and you can go home.
