Vaginal Rejuvenation in Mobile, Alabama

Childbirth, hormonal fluctuations, and the natural course of aging can all negatively affect the appearance, form, and function of the vagina over time.

The vaginal muscles may naturally begin to lose strength and tightness over time, potentially reducing a woman’s ability to comfortably hold their bladder or appreciate sexual sensation.

Vaginal rejuvenation refers to a series of nonsurgical energy-based treatment procedures performed to tighten the vaginal muscles.

Am I a Candidate for Vaginal Rejuvenation?

Patients experiencing the following concerns are likely to benefit from nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation. In a personal consultation, our aesthetic specialists will determine if the procedure is suitable for you and help you understand what it would likely accomplish.

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Loose and wrinkled labial folds
  • Reduced sensation during intimacy
  • Tissue tears and/or weakened pelvic muscles
  • Vaginal atrophy (thinning, drying, or inflamed vaginal walls)
  • Vaginal prolapse (weakened and stretched pelvic floor muscles)
  • Vaginal dryness or insufficient natural lubrication during intercourse

Laser Versus Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation

At Synergy MedAesthetics, we utilize the most modern and advanced lasers for vaginal rejuvenation, which are safer and less invasive alternatives to surgical vaginal rejuvenation options such as vaginoplasty or labiaplasty. Vaginal rejuvenation with lasers offers much better and much longer-lasting vaginal tightening that could ever be accomplished with Kegel exercises alone for most patients.

Non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation can be perfectly adapted to treat women of childbearing age looking for dramatic improvements and tightenings, just as it can be adapted to women who currently experiencing menopause and who are looking for help resolving urinary incontinence, atrophy, prolapse, or dryness.

Women experiencing these common concerns can often achieve the desired results within a few treatment sessions.

The Best in Vaginal Rejuvenation: Exilis Ultra Femme 360™

The Exilis Ultra Femme 360 technology by BTL Aesthetics is a state-of-the-art system for rapid, effective, and pain-free vaginal tightening and treatment.

Its sophisticated pulsating light laser stimulates and promotes collagen and elastin production for tighter labia that not only improve the appearance of the vaginal lips, but that also reduces discomfort felt as a result of loose or elongated labia, whether while wearing tight clothing, or engaging in more intimate acts.

Low-intensity RF energy pulsates into the treatment area, effectively addressing laxity and improving vaginal muscle tone.

Built-in safeguards prevent the treatment area from receiving excessive heat or being injured. Most patients will feel no discomfort during treatment and the risk of postoperative injury or extreme annoyance is low.

Exilis Ultra Femme 360 technology allows the discreet female practitioners at Synergy Med Aesthetics to help other women who wish to tighten their sensitive vaginal tissues for a nicely restored aesthetic. Whether you are dissatisfied with vulvovaginal atrophy, elongated or disfigured labia due to childbirth or trauma, our nonsurgical vaginal can help.

How to Prepare for Vaginal Rejuvenation

Prior to treatment, we will ask that you shave the treatment area. On the day of treatment, you’ll be most comfortable in loosely fitting clothing and should bring with you a pair of soft, and slightly loose-fitting underwear that won’t rub or chaff the treatment area. Aside from this, there are no special steps necessary to prepare for non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation.

What to Expect During Treatment

Treatment sessions are rapid, with most being completed in under 10 minutes. For most patients, treatment is also pain-free and not altogether uncomfortable, though your first session may feel new and unusual.

We will begin each session by focusing on the vaginal walls and gently moving the Exilis Ultra Femme 360™ laser across the vaginal muscles. Low-frequency radiofrequency energy pulsations are directed towards the vaginal walls.

Warmth generated by the laser stimulates the body into producing healthy elastin and collagen in the treatment area, causing the vaginal walls to tighten, and healing and tears in the tissue through cell regeneration.

The laser is next directed toward the labia major and labia minora—the inner and outer lips of the vagina. Here again, collagen and elastin are produced to tone your labia muscle and help you regain natural elasticity in the area.

The Exilis Ultra Femme 360™ is also used to rejuvenate the vaginal canal and opening (introitus), as well as the perineum.

After a series of treatment sessions, you will find that your intimate area looks more youthful, and is healthier and more vibrant. The exact number of treatment sessions required by each patient will vary, but in a personal consultation prior to treatment, our female aesthetic experts will be able to provide you with a detailed treatment schedule.

What to Expect After Treatment

For a few hours after vaginal rejuvenation sessions, the treated area may look swollen and feel tender. We advise that patients bring soft and slight loose-fitting underwear that won’t rub or chaff the treatment area.

Immediately after treatment, you can return to your routine social and professional activities, being careful to avoid strenuous physical activities for 1-2 days, and refrain from sexual activity for 3-5 days after treatment.

After your first treatment session, when these minor side effects subside, you will notice an obvious difference in the look and feel of your labia and vaginal tissue.

If you were previously suffering from urinary incontinence, you may see improvement in it after even the first treatment session, and as your vaginal walls continue to strengthen and tighten, the problem may disappear altogether. As treatments progress and further aesthetic improvements are seen, you may feel more comfortable and confident while engaging in sexual intercourse.

How many treatments will I need?

We typically advise that patients undergo between three and four treatment sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Vaginal rejuvenation treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s unique treatment needs and their goals for the procedure.
