If you’re looking for great facial rejuvenation with minimal downtime, you will be very happy to know that we offer a series of in-office chemical peels right here in Mobile, Alabama at Synergy MedAesthetics.

Peels Available at Synergy MedAesthetics

At Synergy MedAesthetics, we offer three unique chemical peels to meet our patient’s diverse needs. Each of these peels is suited to slightly different skin conditions and cosmetic concerns. In a private personal consultation, our aesthetic specialists will help you determine which peel will get you the most results for the least amount of downtime.

CoolPeel

Despite its name, CoolPeel isn’t actually cold. It is a revolutionary approach to skin resurfacing that uses thermal (heat) energy in order to break down damaged skin cells. These skin cells slough off to reveal a healthier and vibrant complexion. The CoolPeel further catalyzes the production of healthy collagen and elastin that over time leads to cleaner, tighter, healthier skin. The CoolPeel is a non-invasive, ablative laser skin resurfacing treatment. It precisely delivers energy into the skin in short bursts or pulses, removing the uppermost layer of skin.

VI Chemical Peel

This medium-strength and medium-depth chemical peel penetrate the topmost layer of your skin (the epidermis) to exfoliate your skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The VI Chemical Peel employs a proprietary blend of ingredients that include vitamins, minerals, and abrasives that lightly clear away a layer of the facial skin. The VI Chemical Peel is suitable for patients of all skin tones and skin colors and can be used beyond just the face. Lightweight but effective, the VI Chemical Peel can be used to treat the face, neck, decolletage, chest, hands, back, and even eyelids.

Chemical Peels

In addition to the VI Chemical Peel, we offer a series of chemical peels with three different strengths: superficial, medium, and deep. The mildest of them all, a superficial peel, typically uses salicylic and glycolic acid in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, minimize the pores and dark spots, and improve overall skin tone.

Conditions treated by skin peels

  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sunspots
  • Scarring (acne and other types of scarring)
  • Large pores
  • Lackluster complexion

What happens during treatment?

Depending upon which of these peels you select, your face will either remain dry (CoolPeel), or be safely slathered in light grade chemicals. In either case, the process is virtually painless and if discomfort is to be expected, we will provide a topical anesthetic solution that allows you to simply relax as we work to rejuvenate your skin.

Recovery

Your recovery period will vary slightly depending on which of these peels you have selected. After the CoolPeel, you can return to your social and professional life almost immediately. The VI Chemical Peel also requires no downtime and most patients are able to immediately return to their work and social activities.

After a light or superficial chemical peel, you might experience redness for 20 to 60 minutes and mild flaking in the days after treatment. The “side effects” of a medium peel would require a longer recovery time of up to 5 or 7 days and considerably more skin flaking would be experienced as you are shedding your stratum corneum. A deep chemical peel is going to have the most obvious aftereffects and the longest recovery period.

Results

Chemical peels and laser skin resurfacing are excellent non-surgical ways to improve the appearance of your face. The results you are likely to see with these peels are significantly greater than anything achievable with at-home techniques and a wonderful option for facial rejuvenation.

Within a few to several days, the tone, texture, and appearance of your face will be considerably improved. Your face will look fresher, feel smoother and more youthful, and be freer of age spots, sun spots, discoloration, and other common cosmetic issues. Your pores will also appear smaller and your skin will have a new and healthy sheen to it.

RevePeel Fresh

At Synergy MedAesthetics, we offer the specialized RevePeel Fresh facial at our center in Mobile, Alabama. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.

What does the RevePeel Fresh do?

The RevePeel Fresh is a chemical peel that is formulated to work on the different layers of your skin and reduce the appearance of:

  • Fine lines
  • Skin discoloration
  • Poor skin texture
  • Acne scars
  • Sun damage

When the RevePeel Fresh chemical peel is applied to your skin, it enriches your dermal cells with essential vitamins, minerals and other growth matrix elements, which stimulate the growth of fresh dermal cells. Your skin will start to naturally produce collagen, which is an essential protein necessary to maintain the elasticity and suppleness of your skin.

After about a week’s time, you will notice how you look so youthful and exuberant, with blemish-free skin.

How long do the results last?

The RevePeel Fresh is a light chemical peel facial and you can expect the results to last for a week or two. But it all depends on the skincare regime you employ and by taking care of your skin, you can ensure your results remain for longer. Visit our Mobile, Alabama center for RevePeel Fresh.
